When core physiological imbalances occur, they vary in type and severity from person to person depending on a number of factors including genetics, personal outlook, background and current surroundings. A core physiological imbalance happens when there is a dysfunction in one of the body’s main or core systems that normally serve to direct a major body process. We have narrowed these imbalances into 5 key groups or danger zones:
1. Inflammation and/or Immune System Dysfunction
2. Chronically Elevated Cortisol Levels
3. Oxidative Stress
4. Insulin Imbalance
If these core physiological imbalances are left unchecked and aren't returned to a more balanced state, a person will enter a situation where, at the very least, they will lack good health, lose vitality and the ability to thrive. In the worst case scenario, disease will develop. It is clear that we must become personally aware of our bodies so we can learn to detect an imbalance before serious consequences develop.
